The short version
- Your text never leaves your device for Zenvor speech or AI features.
- Zenvor does not ask you to create an account or identify yourself.
- Zenvor contains no analytics, telemetry, attribution, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- Zenvor does not collect or receive your reading content, listening history, highlights, notes, settings, or device identifiers.
What Zenvor stores, and where
The articles and text you add, reading position, playback state, library organization, highlights, notes, bookmarks, listening history, statistics, settings, downloaded audio, and exported audio are stored locally on your device.
Deleting this data in the app removes it from your device. Removing the app removes its local data.
Network activity
Zenvor's only app network activity is the activity you initiate. When you paste or share a link, or subscribe to a feed, Zenvor fetches that content directly from the publisher or feed host you chose. That request does not go to Zenvor, and we do not log it.
Zenvor does not send your text, audio, usage, or device identifiers anywhere. There is no background upload and no phone home.
On-device AI
Zenvor's summaries, "Ask about this," and Define & Simplify features use Apple's on-device foundation models on supported hardware. Zenvor does not use Private Cloud Compute or any server-side model for these features.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions. Zenvor receives only the App Store entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive payment card details.
Support, beta feedback, and this website
If you email support, privacy, or beta feedback, we receive the information you choose to send in that message. The public website may generate standard server logs for security and operations. Those website logs are not linked to your Zenvor app library and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Camera (scanning printed pages)
Zenvor asks for camera access only when you tap Scan to read a printed page or book aloud. The scanner runs only while you are scanning.
Apple's on-device VisionKit document scanner and text recognition process each frame in memory. Page images are discarded after recognition, are not saved to your photo library or to disk, and are never uploaded. Only the recognized text is kept as a normal library item that you can delete in the app.
Permissions
Zenvor requests only what a feature you use needs: the camera when you scan a page, and access to a document you choose to import. It does not request contacts, location, photos, or the microphone.
Children's privacy
Zenvor does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected or transmitted by the app, there is no personal data of children for us to receive from app usage.
Third parties
Zenvor includes open-source components for on-device speech and language processing. These run on your device and do not receive your data. Zenvor has no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker relationships.
